Our Story

The establishment of the brand Devergo had an easy and plain concept: to create an innovative denim collection for young, fashionable men. The popularity of the men collection inspired us to create both women, unisex and footwear collection. Our products are known for being innovative, brave both in color and fabrics, and for the usage of graphic designs. Devergo is being represented ont he denim market for more than 20 years, mainly but not only in Europe.
The Devergo brand have been established by Renata Sartori and Paolo Bolzonella in the late 80’s in Northern-Italy, Noale. In these years such as the brands Energie, Replay and Diesel, Devergo brought a new wave in the Italian fashion and denim industry. On the Hungarian market Devergo has been placed by a small business, named Flas Ltd., established by a Hungarian and a Greek young adult. They opened a store called „Rolling Store” under number 9 Síp Street in October 1992. This store have had the greatest floorplace selling denim wear in Hungary that time, from the ten other stores with similar profile. In 1994, on an event called „ Budapesti Divat Napok” (Fashion Days of Budapest) they have also started the wholesale trade of Devergo products. As following the aspects of the Hungarian market with attention, they have also bought the rights to produce such products, that the original Italian producer did not provide and manufactured. Further on they also bought the right to export these goods to the neighbour countries. In the first 6 years the Italian and the Hungarian HQ have been selling the Devergo goods paralell. For the year of 1999 the Hungarian small business bought both the brand and reserved the rights of manufacturing and selling for the whole World. Today, we have an international team, with both Hungarian, Greek, Ukranien, and Russian team working in our HQ. Nowadays, as from the beginning, the famous designer Christiano Berto is on the post of the designer team. Berto teaches and creates the actual „cool” denim trends hand in hand with many young fellow designers.
